26 Week Check Up

I must admit while I type this blog my computer is bouncing from a certain someone dancing in my belly. Friday I had my latest midwife appointment at which I took my glucose test, asked a few labor questions... that's about it. Since then life has been full of excitement. Friday and Saturday passed with only relaxation and bonding time with my husband. Sunday lunch was spent at Joe's parents at which time we brought home the crib they had at their house. Exciting times! Although we haven't quite finished cleaning the babies room, it was enough to get us motivated to do so. I started clearing a few things while Joe went to make sure his battery was charged in his drill. We were soon interrupted by Joe's sister calling. Leaving out the monotonous details we met Mary and Mike at Sears, coming home with a travel set including car seat, base & stroller. We also came home with a playpen from Tab! We have already been so blessed.
I know that a family is never really ready for a baby, but our house has been showered with blessings this weekend, and I feel we are on our way to being ready for our new addition.

To remain on a blessed note, I found out today Hill is pregnant too. I couldn't be any more happy.

100 Days to Go

It's a little late in the game, but we are 25 weeks and six days pregnant (according to the calendar.) We wanted to start a little blog for the few loved ones we have out of town...
Just for sentimental purposes, I will start from the beginning, keeping it short and sweet.
August '08: We're pregnant!

December '08: It's going to
be a boy!

That brings us to date, January 18, 2009. Six months pregnant.
At six months pregnant, I can definitely feel him. Although I can feel him, it's still tricky for anyone else to, only Joe so far. That's because he is laying next to me in bed, hand on my belly, waiting. It seems like forever ago we found out we were going to be parents, and now reality seems to be right around the corner.
