9 Weeks Old

I have been a bit preoccupied and slacking on blogs. Sunday was Cade's two month birthday. It has been a wonderful two months. Just today we watched him talk to Granny Ruth on the phone! He loved it. She got him laughing and cooing just talking over the speaker phone, but when Joe handed him the phone he tried to eat it. Too funny!
He just fell asleep next to me in his Boppy. Before he fell asleep he was too busy laughing at me. I told him he was creeping me out watching me eat, he laughed. The more I talked the more he laughed. BUT as soon as I got out the camera he was done. His personality is surely shining through.
Thursday he returns to the doctor for his two month check up and vaccines. We can't wait to see how big he is now. What A Big Boy, Watching Golf With Daddy

Seven Short Weeks

If you know Joe, then you know he LOVES red. Whether it be because of Ohio State, or if he just loves the color. If he purchases clothes it will always be red, he does own other colors (because that's what I've bought). If he is left to pick out his own clothes, he always grabs for a red shirt. I ran into Walmart the other day for formula, and I couldn't help myself when I saw a super cute red and white striped collared onesie. AND though my father and husband have been teasing me that everything doesn't have to match, I HAD TO GET IT. I know I'm silly, when we get ready for church I make sure we match, if we don't match then we at least don't clash.
Cade is growing everyday. He is now seven weeks old. A baby was in the office the other day that was as big as Cade when he was born, how sad. Sad that we won't be able to have that again, but hopeful that we get to watch him grow and become Cade. Just a few months ago when we would go for utlra sounds the techs always commented on the personality he already had. Now just seven weeks after birth Cade has already proven he is social. He still sleeps quite a bit, but when he's awake, it is play time! He loves to smile and he loves to see you smile!

Too Long

I know- it has been forever since anything real was posted. Still not much has changed. Cade is growing everyday in size and personality.
We visited Sarah the other day and had some pictures made. (Luckily she's family and we got to take a ton!) Here are a few, and yes she is for hire...
