First Cereal

Since yesterday was Cade's four month check up, we got the go ahead for cereal and eventually baby food. We didn't start last night, since he just got shots. I didn't figure anything was good for him, except some babying and loving.
Tonight was the night. As expected he had some issues. I think we waited too long he was starving, couldn't eat fast enough, and was completely weirded out. I'm sure when his mind was off how hungry he was, he loved it.
Bittersweet.

Four Months

Today was Cade's four month check up. Everything went great! He is 25 3/4 inches long and 17 pounds. He got two shots and one oral vaccine. The nurse laughed and said Cade was the second baby she'd seen suck the vaccine out, instead of waiting for her to squirt it. Cade only cried for a bit after the injections. I think he was giving me the silent treatment for a bit, but then he fell asleep. He woke up happy. As of last Monday Cade began rolling over, yay! This weekend he'll begin on rice cereal, then soon on to fruits and veggies.

Almost Four Months

We spent another Saturday out to Camp Creek with Sarah. Even when Cade was getting tired he was cracking up. Sometimes he gets silly when he gets sleepy.
So we are almost to the four month mark. Soon he will begin eating cereal and growing up faster than we're ready. Today was a BIG turning point. He rolled over! He was ready to the other day, but just couldn't manage. The shock was he didn't scare himself when he did it, he thought it was funny!
First its rolling over soon he'll be driving a car.

A Week Too Long

In regards to updates, Cade is just such a happy baby. He plays with anyone, but is also self entertained. Often times we'll catch him giggling at we what we think is nothing, but it myst be something to him. He loves to talk on the phone and he loves to read his books. His last playtime of the day with Mommy and Daddy seems to be some of his happiest. He will laugh and giggle out loud till Joe and I can't stop laughing at him. Of course Grandma and Nanny Mary get him going too. Sometimes when he looks at us, its as though he is trying so hard to tell us something. I think he's going to be a people person.
It seems like everyday this last week we have taken pictures of Cade. It seems with every picture we took I would think, "Oh I can't wait to show that too -----" So when you see that picture that you think is sooooooooooo cute, we were thinking of you.
