Happy Birthday Cade!

As Hillary would say...It's Cade Palooza!

We've been celebrating birthday for almost a week and we're still going strong. Unfortunately the plan was to take him to the zoo for his birthday, but those plans were cancelled. Last Sunday, Easter, we started at the Angles and our usual Thursday Grandpa night we had cake. Well cake, strawberries and ice cream. YUMMY!!!!!! Our sweet two year old loves fruit so what better than cake AND fruit? I mean look at that face:

I finally let him go to town on some cake, he insisted on a fork.

Love some Grover

And lovin' some train time!

Happy Easter (**updated**)

The Easter Bunny has been to our house!
Easter basket complete with Chuggington & Mickey Mouse coloring books,
stickers, eggs (w/stickers inside), new big boy cup, Chip & Dale t-shirt,
crackers, new Cars & Easter shoes (shox.)
I'm sure we'll have more photos from the rest of the day later...

Cade finally woke and was glad to see what the Easter Bunny left.

We of course spent the morning in church, followed by lunch at Grandpa & Grandma's. Even PaPaw came. Cade loved what the Easter Bunny left there as well.
With no nap, we headed to Granny & Pa's for birthday celebration.
With a busy week and a very pregnant momma, we had to combine Easter visit with birthday. I don't think anyone's feelings were hurt. Cade was thrilled to see his cake.

Mykenzie & Cade got to hunt eggs before the cake was devoured.

Cade was distracted by a puddle,
he was done with the eggs.

Year Two Photo Session

After yesterday's crying photo post I thought
I better share some lovelies that we had taken a few weeks ago.
I gave a sneak peak, but here are some more...

We took London with us, she was adorable!

Cade in his element:

Cade kept insisting on running in and out of London's photo session.
He loves her. He can't stop loving her when he sees her.

I'm hoping the weekend of his birthday we'll get some more good photos of him.
These are great, but it was hard.
They were taken during nap time, so he wasn't too cooperative.

Let's Talk

Officially in four weeks we'll have a baby. Now whether that baby will be ten minutes old, a day old, three days old, or anything else...He will be here. That's exciting stuff, scary too. It's time to get cracking on finishing touches. BUT not only will four weeks lead to a new baby but two weeks leads to a two year old. (Trust me though when I say I've already met that two year, what a pain, but we still love him.)

Here's the break down:
One week: Easter
Two weeks: Cade is Two!
Three-Four weeks: Baby Nathaniel

Crazy, I tell ya.

Friday evening we took Cade to see the Easter Bunny. I can't tell you how much these photos we have taken crack me up. He really was ok with the bunny, he just didn't like sitting on his lap. He danced around, blew kisses & showed him his trains. The photographer was very kind and luckily there weren't any people in line behind us, so she took plenty of photos. I did get a copy of one that he's not crying in, but what fun is that.

Don't forget what last years looked like.

What a Wonderful Weekend!

Hillary insisted on throwing a baby shower for Nathaniel and I. I insisted it be called something else...So she went with Baby Sprinkle, me I just called it a baby party. I got exactly what I wanted, a good time with close family and friends. I wanted a low stress, no fuss situation. She fussed a little more than she needed to do, but I appreciate all the effort her and Michael put into the party. The Angles weren't able to make it, but all my other close family and friends were there. Between Beth's busy school, work and family schedule, even she was able to stop by for forty-five minutes. (She was between T-ball practice and work) All I wanted was good conversation, smiles, laughs and a few diapers. I was overwhelmed with all.

Someone Got into Some M&Ms before we got there...
That didn't stop Cade from loving on her.

BFF

Does this count as an Asbury photo?

At least he uses utensils and didn't go fingers first into the cake

I am in my 35/40 week of pregnancy. Everything is going well. I went to the doctor yesterday, he said everything looked good. We discussed the delivery a little bit more and still have some more options to explore. Otherwise the countdown is on...less than five weeks we'll have baby Nathaniel to love on in person.
