One New Transition
It was finally time for new photos to be done. This time around was not quite as easy as ALL of the last ones were. Cade was too busy either running around the room (away from the background) or being very serious with whatever prop we gave him. By the time we did the first few in the usual white onesie, I was done and didn't care if we took any more. I did mention some outside photos and since I had to redress him anyway we went to the backyard for a few. Those turned out nice, but he was still very serious in all of those as well. My silly little guy was just refusing to be silly.
In more new events we have made one more transition out of baby-hood. It has been three days and two night with no pacifier. The last few times I began this process I felt like he instantly knew what had crossed my mind and was more attached to his pacifier than ever. Cade mostly 'loses' his pacifier in the middle of the night and I usually make sure he doesn't see it when he wakes up...After a day of running errands and not needing it I decided it was time to go to bed sans the sucker. It worked! He didn't have any problems. I felt like that was too easy and our real test would be during church on Sunday. Unfortunately church service falls right in nap time. Sometimes he's fussy and sometimes he's not. He played until I got back to him after playing the piano, then climbed in my lap and went to sleep. What was this?!? How easy!?! This little man has got me spoiled.
And though I am a little sad not to see those sweet little eyes staring back at me with that little baby pacifier in his mouth, I know its for the best. Next thing he'll be driving a car off to college... I'm already not ready.

Weekend Off
Friday evening we visited with Nanny & Pa. Usually Cade hates wearing a hat, but with everyone in the room he allowed it long enough for a photo:
Then he just got plain silly. He started ear piercing screaming. Nanny would jump so he would scream and giggle. So he kept screaming and giggling. And yes, if you look close enough you'll see his snack still in his mouth while he was giggling.

Mommy finally had some time off on Saturday so we headed to the Wild Horse Saloon in Pomeroy for dinner. We hoped to see some beautiful fall scenery along the way. The only fall we got were the pumpkins at the produce stand when we stopped to say hi to Lora.

Dinner was nice, but Cade was a little under the weather. He still recuperating, but as always just as funny as ever.

200th Post
This is Chuck, he's Cade's favorite truck.

Don't get me wrong, he has lots of different trucks. This isn't even half of his trucks.
not.even.half.

He has all sorts of Chucks...Three different sizes to be exact.
We joked that he has the daddy truck, the mommy truck and the baby truck.

Sometimes he rolls them around with the daddy truck carrying the baby truck.
Love it! Too Cute!
Looks just like our sweet little family.
We should hang a sign on the Chucks' garage that says, "The Angles."
