The Many Names of Cade

Ever watch "The Flintstones?" The wonderful neighbors, the Rubbles, found a cute little fellow on their doorstep...Bamm Bamm, they later adopt him. I did not find this child on my doorstep, but I believe he is Bamm Bamm. Unless I video him I could never truly show his crazy ability to create as much noise as possible. He can pick up anything, I swear. He bangs everything. I find toys piled on top of each other. Its crazy.

Stealth: n, secret, clandestine, surreptitious procedure

He can appear out of nowhere now. He walks light footed. Turn around...KAPOW, there he is! Watch your step! On a side note to this he can now reach door handles. Good thing we already have most child proofed, and proven effective. Beth's four year old couldn't work them.

Sweet Pea: If he's not the sweetest sweetie in the world I don't know who is...If he were in sweeter I'd have a cavity. Yeah Yeah, I know I'm a little partial. I just love how he snuggles a blanket or his little doggie that says his name. He'll even snuggle with you if you get lucky. His sweet sweet smile is one of my favorite things. They should change the song, "raindrops on roses, smiles on Sweet Pea, brown paper packages tied up in string, these are a few of my favorite things!"

Aren't these piggies the cutest too!

I'm going to go with Goober for the last name. Daddy likes to call him that. Cade can be so silly, it is hilarious. He'll just turn and grin and my heart melts. I always smile. He makes these cute little noises all the time. He's just plain silly and I LOVE IT! (yes in the below photo he has sweet potato on his face & in his hair)

I told ya he was sweet!

Ten Things

Ten Things I Do When Sweet Pea Isn't Here

1. Sit

2. Put the dishes in the dishwasher...without saying, "Stop. No no. What did you put in your mouth? What, where did you come from?"

3. Listen to a whole album...all the way through

4. Go to the store...and drive with the windows down

5. While at the store, wander aimlessly, for as long as I want, go through every aisle...slowly

6. Eat dinner...without sharing

7. Watch TV, strike that, pay attention to TV...with a plus, it isn't Mickey Mouse

8. Sit some more

9. Laundry, but I do that when Cade is here

10. MISS HIM TERRIBLY!

Spurt

Cade has been napping for almost two hours and just realized I should have been blogging. We haven't had any "new" developments. Cade is growing more everyday. Over the past few days he has slept quite a bit, and usually for him that means growth spurt. Sometimes I think he will be as tall as Uncle Mike when he's in elementary school.
I've got just a few photos from this week and last. Now that London and her parents live here now, I'm sure she'll be in more photos. AND now that school is in summer session we'll actually get to see Beth as well. So in turn there will be more photos of her boys.

Last week Cade and I visited Hillary...just because we could (woo hoo!) He had his own juice, two cups as a matter of fact. Apparently he was still thirsty, he stole London's.

WANTED: Juice Thief

He doesn't look very happy, but I promise he had the best time running around their new house.

This was Wednesday. London came over while her mommy got her hair done.
Beth and Blake dropped by too, how could I not take a picture of this fabulousness!?!

Mother's Day
we weren't late for church...yet
Cade was busy laughing at our neighbor-dogs. I actually had to try to position the camera so it appeared he was looking at the camera, but it was really the dogs. Plus the ran up to the back of the yard, so moving the camera didn't work anyway.

Here he is smiling his beautiful smile. It's my one armed photography.
The best we got for Mother's Day.

Par-Tay

Finally, a moment to blog. I'll hurry before tiny fingers try to interrupt. We've had a wonderful week. Cade has thoroughly enjoyed being a one year old. He's the happiest toddler in the world right now. He has all his birthday toys and his new walking skills to keep him busy. See:

Here he is almost making me think I don't want to cut his hair. It's only "normal" after its been washed and combed. Although lately bathing is not his favorite thing. Strike that- washing his hair is not his favorite...bathing is fun.

Now for a few photos from the party! I wish I had taken more, especially of everyone there, but that will always be the case...wanting more photos. I'm a photo-aholic.

Super 1

Ew Cake.

This pic is from his party at the Angles. He didn't want anything to do with that cake either.

Cade Palooza

Cade Palooza (as Hillary would say)

We've been partying since last weekend! Last Saturday Nanny Ruth & Pa had a little cake, Wednesday we went to a baseball game and yesterday we had a party!!!! We've had so much fun and we are so blessed. For now we are still visiting with family and enjoying Cade Palooza. I'll post our photos from SJStudios and hopefully in the next day or two I'll post pics from the parties and baseball game.
