Round Up?

Here it is Friday, and I forgot to do another Thursday Round Up. We've had a calm week. No new developments. Cade is finally feeling better. All is well at our home.

Happy Hump Day

I'm sitting at the dealership getting my oil changed, what better time to blog. Keep in mind I'm typing on a phone, there may be typos.
Cade officially has four new teeth. Poor thing has been chewing on his pacifier for four days. I'm guessing they really hurt once they broke the skin. Every time I looked at him he was grinding his teeth, I broke down and let him have his pacifier A LOT. If I handed him a teething ring he would throw it. His new favorite thing. Hand him a ball and watch out... Wait hand him anything and watch out, whether it be a ball, a teething ring, a car, ANYTHING. Once this began we knew we had to get "real" ball. He chose his own, red of course. Cade thinks it's great if you sit in the floor and roll/pass it back and forth. Last night I could tell he was feeling better he played more in the floor and let my lap take a rest. Even with all the agony if cutting teeth he still all smiles. (most of the time)
Now we watch him play and explore. We see him standing and balancing on his own. Sometimes he gets so into playing he tries to "walk" to the next item on his agenda, but find he hits the floor. That doesn't stop him.
Since I'm not on the computer let me look and see if I have any cute pics on the phone...

Round Up

Sorry, I'm slacking again. I'll have plenty of pictures to make up for it. My goal for this week is to post at least once a day, so it may be just a bunch of quickpics, but I'll make up for the last week.

As you know London came to town last weekend. We were so excited. Turns out London's daddy will be taking a job in Hamlin...London's moving to town!!! Alright I'm thrilled Hillary is coming back to town, it may not be till spring, but YAY!

Valentines

I managed not to take any other photos through out the week. It seems that I have done nothing but wrestle a wee one. We had lots of snow and today its almost 60 degrees. What a week. Joe's appointment was put off till March, hopefully all is well until then.
Cade is still on the move. He's beginning to climb. Even with getting four teeth this week Cade has been a doll baby.
Yesterday we went to watch Beth's kids race their pinewood derby cars for Boy Scouts. They swept the entire competition. Chase won his division, Blake won his division, then Chase won the entire competition. Christian, Chase's daddy is already talking about next years (I think he was a little excited.)

Thursday Round Up LATE LATE LATE

So sorry for my delay in round up, I knew I was forgetting something... Apparently this was it. A thousand apologies. It has snowed EVERYDAY! Well technically not today, but today is Friday, and that doesn't count in Thursday roundup.
Cade is all over the place. It is so funny to watch his determination to maneuver through the obstacle course we have to deter him from going to far. We watch him playing with all his toys, watching him grow into his toys. He learns new things from them everyday. I always laugh, we have had these toys for at least two months...if not more...and I hear something new everyday. He is very determined. When something is on his mind, that's it. His eye is on the prize and he is going to get it. That could be getting to the other room at Grandma and Grandpa's or if its just to get that little string in the floor to try and eat it.
In our biggest news, Cade officially got three teeth this week. Let's reflect, at the start of the week he worked on his third tooth, by the end he had three more total. In the beginning of the blog I stated it was Friday, by the time I got the second paragraph it was Saturday. So the below photo of his teeth wasn't technically taken within the week roundup...BUT I HAD to show you.

Cabin Fever

Someone in this house, I won't name names (he's 2 1/2 ft tall), has been a bit grumpy. I'm thinking he's got cabin fever. Sure we've only been here two days, but...OK FINE, I've got cabin fever. I weighed the options of leaving today, but it was not worth weather-proofing Cade. AND Cade has two more teeth popping through and he is a clingy grouch.

Thursday Roundup

Yet another week has passed. We started last weekend with our new addition to home, the gate. It seems to be working well. Though now sometimes he'll find himself standing next to it, then start crying. I guess just knowing he can't get passed is just the most horrible feeling in the world. You know, being free to roam the whole rest of the house is just not good enough. This weekend was snowy and both of our churches cancelled. Although we managed to make visits to the grands. Its interesting to watch him at both houses, testing his boundaries.

Cade visited the doctor on Monday and did well with two shots. We are expecting teeth any time...we're waiting....waiting...waiting. Hopefully all six don't arrive at once, or maybe that would be a good thing. Then it would be done. Suffering and all.
The rest of the week has been kind of slow. Well slow for chasing a nine month around.

Mommy Got a New Camera

Mommy got a new camera, it does all sorts of things. I'm so excited. It can detect a smile a snap the photo just in time. It can take a burst of ten photos in one second. AWESOME! It's small, it fits in my purse, its not heavy and I don't have to worry about scratching the lens! Keep in mind I played with it- a lot. So I took a ton of photos, 234 to be exact. Most of those were the 10 photo bursts, one snap, ten pics. What? I was playing, forgive me. BUT Cade was too busy playing to pose for pictures. Most of my photos comsisted of his back or the top of his head. I made a small collage of two days worth of photos. He didn't have time for pics, too many toys were calling his name.

In other exciting news... After 5,000 no's and 4,000 those for being in the tv area, we bought a gate.

Nine Month Check Up

Let's review:
Birth: 7lbs 8 oz 21"
Two Week: 8lbs 10 oz
Two Month: 14lbs 23.5"
Four Month:17lbs 25.75"
Six Month: 19lbs 9 oz 27.5"
Nine Month: 24lbs 8oz 30.5"

Everything is great! The doctor said he was as big as his three year old daughter. Although in last visits it seemed he almost insinuated Cade was over weight, but today he was just enamored with how tall he is. His height is in the 97% and weight 95%. Which means only 3% of the nation's boys his age are as tall as him or taller. You see in all my last blogs I am so sad because he's growing quickly. Ninety-six percent of our nation's mothers are still able to buy all those cute baby clothes. I'm over it. I feel better about his growing into a big boy this week. I guess I have found some sort of peace after the weekend and after visiting the physician. It's so fun to watch him go from toy to toy, laughing as he goes. His show off personality is shining every where we go, he is such a flirt. I'm just so thankful he's perfect.
