Merry Christmas

We were so blessed this Christmas beginning with the visit of Aunt Ann & Uncle Jim then on through the week with Grandpa's birthday. We spent Christmas Eve with the Angles. As hectic as it usually is, its nice to spend time with everyone together.

These are most of the photos, Cade, in the floor, with his new trucks or trains.
If we photographed him now that's what the pics would still be.

His new basketball hoop, he loves it.

Christmas Morning:

Santa even left a gift for May baby.

Cade kissing his blocks....
look at that background.toys.everywhere.

Opening gifts at the Sullivans after breakfast.

cheesey grin

All was well till Aunt Kristi & Uncstole the show...
Buying him a new addition to his favorite truck collection.
All gift opening stopped and playing commenced.

We somehow steered him away from his new vehicle to open another...
show stopper that is
A giant Chuck the Truck
He stared at his new Mack & Lightning
which was fine, he was just as content.

A car of his very own,
he ran into the wall within seconds, he may need some driving lessons

The Start of a Week Celebration

This weekend we started a week of holiday celebration. I know the saying is, "Merry Christmas" and trust me I say it, but this is holiday cause Grandpa's birthday is coming!!! Saturday Aunt Ann came for a wonderful visit. Cade was sure to show off all his toys ad silly skills.
Yesterday being Christmas Sunday we enjoyed our church service singing carols and counting our blessings. Holiday services mostly take longer than usual, but Cade was being very good, a little silly as usual, but mostly patient. We had received a bad with an apple, orange and candy bar in it. Cade went straight for the apple. Not realizing he would actually get any where with it Granny ended up being a apple juice wiping machine while Daddy was on apple skin rescue patrol, yanking out the tough skin before he choked. He was too cute with it. Even when he grabbed the orange and take a bite, peeling and all.

Cade being a normal 20 month old wanted to play, play, play. So off he and Aunt Ann went to his play room where they could learn all the animal sounds, play house and read.

This was an attempt at some cute Christmas pics,
but his silly faces kept them silly instead of cute

The Award for Cutest in the Wedding Goes To....

Friday night started a little hectic as usual for a rehearsal. I think Cade did as well as he could. They ran through things a few times to which he walked up and down the aisle the entire practice EXCEPT when he was suppose to be. Then we enjoyed some of Grandma Asbury's recipe spaghetti and rolls.
Saturday morning we headed over for me to help the girls and Joe and Cade, well they waited patiently with the rest of the guys. Everyone was beautiful. I selected just a few (trust me its a few compared to what was taken) to share...

Cade's was a tad on the big side, but adorable nonetheless.
