The first week of our new lives. It has been wonderful. On Thursday the doctor said I was more than welcome to stay one more night in the hospital, but I could go home if I wanted. So we packed up and headed on our first adventure. My mother met us at our house with lunch and plenty of encourage
ment. Soon after came Joe's parents and Mykenzie. After a little convincing she decided she was ready to hold him. She had been so excited about meeting him, but after he came she was a little hesitant. Everything went well, and she even kissed him. The day progressed with more and more visitors. By the end of the evening I would gather around 15- 20 people had been at our house. The three of us were wore out. The night went well. He was barely fussy and I had to wake him up to feed him.So now we are on to our third day home and all is wonderful. We plan to make our first trip to church this morning. Our baby is awesome, and our family and friends are true blessings.

Our first trip to church went wonderfully. Cade didn't make a peep and everyone made such a fuss. Originally we had planned to visit our second church this evening, but I wasn't feeling so well today and decided not to push my luck. Our first week has been exciting and wonderful, and one I plan to never forget.
