Ah, yes, we have all seen this picture and laughed.

So I guess there is an old wives tale that refers
to not cutting a baby's hair until

after his/her's first birthday.
Nanny & Pa seem to be set in said tale.
Not cutting Daddy's curls as a baby for a long time.

I did some research and couldn't find a single reason, silly or not, for this "rule." Internet question"ers" asked similar questions. Most responders said their babies simpl
y didn't have the hair to cut before baby's first birthday. They apparently aren't raising a hippie, like me. ----------------------------->So in an effort not to cause any sort of bad luck to my baby's tresses, we've been living with "bad" hair. Don't get me wrong, when his hair is laying down...adorable! But with a few snuggles here and a couple of minutes of play time...watch out. Its over his ears, down his neck, you never know what its going to be doing. Don't even get me started on his cowlick. One month to get his bangs out of his eyes and what can be made into a pony tail off his neck. Below are a few photos that may shed some insight to coiffure.
Yes, this is real. This is what we have to work with before meeting the public.
