Not much to be said about day one, it was all driving. Cade did beautifully. We started early and with full bellies. He slept most of the morning and quite a bit after lunch. We hit quite a bit of rain on the way, but we pulled through. Just like the rest of us Cade was getting a little anxious the last twenty minutes of the trip. We finally made it to Savannah in just the expected time. We set Cade free in the room. His favorite of course, jumping on the bed. He also loved the full length mirror though:

Day two we started out with pancakes to last us to Gainesville. We toured a little of the campus and of course a drive by of Unc's old theatre. Having lived there we depended on Unc to pick a place to eat. He chose the Gators Dockside. (Although Daddy was wear Ohio State, we still went in.) It was delicious, we even got Auntie to try some gator tail.

I'll admit I could feel myself getting a little emotional as we walked up to the condo. It was to be a total adjustment not seeing Grandma there. I know everyone feels the same way, I'm just the one putting it on to the web for everyone to read. Great Grandpa finally got to meet Cade which was bittersweet.
We enjoyed our evening catching up and watching Cade play with his family. I am not anxious for the next two days to pass and plan to enjoy (what I can) every minute of it. We are in Florida in a celebration of the love Grandma gave to each of us and to pass on to the rest of our generations.
