Jam Packed

I have started and restarted this post for four days. Even in my original posting I said I would attempt to not be distracted. So this blog post will hopefully be jam packed with lots of info and photos!
We'll start with two weeks ago (I know I've posted since then, but not a 'real' post.) I had a Friday, Saturday and Sunday off in a row and we decided to make a run for it. Where did we go you may wonder??? Columbus, of course. While there we had a wonderful time, and yet managed not to take many photos. Weird, I know. Early Saturday morning we took a swim at the hotel and then met Grandpa and Grandma for lunch. Afterwards it was off to surprise Aunt Ann, Uncle Jim and then Aunt Marguerite.

Cade loved playing trucks with Aunt Marguerite.

But unfortunately was extremely tired while we were there.

After a kiss goodbye to Grandpa and Grandma, we were off to the Buckeye Corner and to Daddy's favorite, Barley's. Joe's mouth had been watering since we decided to go Columbus. Barley's on the weekend meant brisket. So three out of five dinners were yummy delicious and we followed with dessert. Aunt Ann and I ventured to try the mousse and both agreed it was too rich...apparently it wasn't for Cade:

We returned home with no problems feeling refreshed and blessed. That week went well by Friday it cooled off a little so Cade and I voted to visit the park. All the swings were taken, so I just let him run. He ran and ran and ran.

Saturday after work we called the Gores to meet for dinner. Since summer is winding down they are home more and we can get fill of our besties. Yummy, Chinese. It was so wonderful to get to see them and its even more wonderful knowing they live here. At home after dinner the kids played in the floor and taught each other everything they knew.

This past week Cade has decided to get his molars, so we believe. That leads to this face...a lot.

Fortunately we still get to see this face a lot too:

We get this a lot too:Fingers in the mouth. Chew, chew, chew. Ouchy. I'm sure his mouth hurts. The past few times we visited the pediatrician he informed us it was alright to move up from Tylenol Infants to Tylenol Childrens. Today was the first chance I got to purchase it though. Simply put we've been on the same bottle for months and months, Cade doesn't require a lot of Tylenol. It was a little sad to make that step forward. We also got vitamins, they're gummy, even better they're Lightning McQueen. Sadly, they stink. I tricked him into one, he's suppose to have two. We'll see if I can at least get him to eat one at a time. Cross your fingers.

More play time with London this week. I'm not sure I can express how much I love having them around. The kids played in the floor and 'shared' toys. Shared meaning stole toys from each other and back and forth.

Not only did they share toys...
They shared pacifiers. Fortunately they use two different kinds and didn't like each others.
Plus the pink didn't match Cades outfit.

Meeting the Gores for dinner again. (YAY!!!)

FYI: It took me more than three hours to get this typed.
I love updating, but hate that I'm easily distracted, but when one sees this face:
How can I not be distracted?

  1. Hi Barb, Joe and Cade, We really enjoyed the new pictures of Cade and London! They looked like they were having lots of fun! You are blessed to have such good friends! We had a good weekend too! We went over to Mike and Gina's on Friday. We sat on the deck by the fire pit. Saturday we went to Marysville and had dinner with Bruce and Darlene their son Jason and his girlfriend Sherry. To Church on Sunday. I saw Josh. He has been dating a girl named Juiia for 2 months now. I hope things go well for him. We went to a family reunion with Jim's family Sunday afternoon. It will be hard to go back to work on Monday! Take Care! God Bless! Love Aunt Ann and Uncle JIm.
