30 Weeks

So its the day before my next midwife appointment, and I'm am anxious. I admit, I usually am. A lot of baby things have happened this past week. My brother in law came over Saturday to help Joe put together some of our furniture, so exciting. While they were doing this I went to "dream" on line at a few baby items and noticed the bedding set we had looked at was on sale. I bit the bullet and ordered, also getting an additional 15% off with a promo code. Woo Hoo, that was exciting. After ordering I sat down to read some baby material. Baby, baby, baby... we are getting anxious.
Since the baby furniture was together I decided to fold and organize some baby clothes. This was so fun, imaging our baby in all the precious clothes. Last night our bedding set arrived! I sent Joe out of the room to wait till I got it together. We love it! Our original decision had been greens and browns, but how could we not do red?!? As much as we both lean toward the color. It is awesome! Now to find curtains...
Cade is very active in my belly. I now feel him almost all day long doing acrobats. Luckily though with a new work schedule and routine I have been somewhat too busy to focus and obsess over it. The evenings are another story, sitting on the couch watching my belly jump or laying in the bed feeling him roll and stretch. This has been a normal thing for about a month now, but I still get a shock when I feel something. There is something alive in there, for real.
As much as I thought things were coming together a few weeks ago, they really are now.
We are beyond blessed.
